Viré Wine Cellars

Situated in Saône-et-Loire, 12 miles from Mâcon, "Viré Wine Cellars" are today in excellent health, brimming over with vitality and ready to fight to ensure that the *Viré-Clessé* appellation is known and recognised by consumers.

Viré-Clessé, the fifth communal appellation, now stands alongside Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Vinzelles, Pouilly-Loché and Saint-Véran.

Over the years, the efforts of the Cellars, supported by a dynamic communication policy (exhibitions, relations with the press, our magazine "Micro-Climat") have been rewarded; on many occasions, Viré-Clessé has distinguished itself and regularly wins the René BOUDIER cup at the Mâcon St-Vincent competition.

 

A sign of destiny: the first harvest of Viré-Clessé took place in the year of our seventieth birthday!
