Viré-Clessé, the fifth communal appellation, now stands alongside Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Vinzelles, Pouilly-Loché and Saint-Véran.
Over the years, the efforts of the Cellars, supported by a dynamic communication policy (exhibitions, relations with the press, our magazine "Micro-Climat") have been rewarded; on many occasions, Viré-Clessé has distinguished itself and regularly wins the René BOUDIER cup at the Mâcon St-Vincent competition.
A sign of destiny: the first harvest of Viré-Clessé took place in the year of our seventieth birthday!

Keen to offer quality products, Viré Wine Cellars are pursuing their policy in the field of integrated agriculture implemented 10 years ago, and obtained the IFS n°4 certification for its food safety management system.
